blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened, and
they recognized Him..."
The story related in this scripture is the basis for a 72-hour weekend experience called The Walk to Emmaus.
Due to the inclement weather, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Gathering for tonight, January 12, 2015. We have not come to this decision lightly; however the safety of our community members is first and utmost in our hearts. We have prayed about this and feel it is the best decision, given the information at hand. We have a few outstanding items for the Menís Walk this weekend, which will go on as scheduled.
Volunteers are still needed for kitchen, housing and the prayer vigil.
